Fall-Flavored Treats

There are many, many things that I love about the Fall season: The fresh Fall air The colors in the trees College football Pumpkin Apple picking Fall fashion etc… I also love all of the *specialty* items that come out in Fall.  Like pumpkin-flavored goodies and cinnamon-spiced drinks and lattes.  Over the past two days, I got to try two Fall-inspired ice creams and I loved them both! Saturday Sunday Review

Hello. How was your weekend? Mine was busy…and fun!  My BFF, Lauren, was in town for a visit. Hence this abbreviated version of my Saturday and Sunday. SATURDAY: Started with an egg-white sandwich on a bagel thin with turkey bacon.  I love turkey bacon.  All the flavor of real bacon, but less greasy and way better for you.  The secret to cooking turkey bacon is to keep it very flat in your pan and cook it until it’s crispy. Spring Forward!!! Then, make this delicious frittata: This morning the Hubs wanted an omelet for breakfast, and I said “How about a Western Frittata?” to which Hubs replied, “My belly missed you.” RECIPE: WESTERN FRITTATA Ingredients: 2 Bell peppers (I used green and yellow) 1 Medium yellow onion 1/4 lb sliced or cubed pre-cooked ham 1.5 Tbsp. Olive Oil 6-7 eggs (I used 7 large eggs) 1/3 C.
