White Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

It’s full on pumpkin season and the blogosphere is embracing this festive ingredient.  I’ve seen pumpkin pies, pumpkin brownies, pumpkin breads, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pasta sauces and so much more.  Personally, I’ve been putting pumpkin in my oatmeal every morning and I’m absolutely loving it. These little golden goodies, however, are my newest obsession.  They are filled with pumpkin goodness, cinnamon and white chocolate.  Plus, at roughly 80 calories a piece, you can go ahead and indulge…then indulge again! Hurricane Cookies

When life gives you a hurricane… …make cookies? At least that’s what the wife of a meteorologist does But, guess what?  You should make these too.  Not only are they tasty, but they leave your guests asking – “how did you do that?” These hurricane symbol cookies were inspired by classic vanilla and chocolate checkerboard cookies.  The trick is to make a large roll of cookies that can be chilled until hard and then sliced.  You simply adapt the cross-section design of the roll to get the shape that you want. Hubs Grills

Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day in the City, so I called the Hubs out on Facebook in hopes of inspiring some man-grilling. When I got home from work, I was happy to see that the Hubs got the message. Kebabs!  Or as my very mature husband likes to say – Keboobs Munchies while the Hubs grilled.  Crumbled pita-chip fragments from the bottom of the bag – love these crunchy little bits.
